Altium Student Lab gives you access to Altium’s powerful electronic design software, which is widely used in a variety of industries. 

Altium has updated its licensing model and no longer offers Altium Designer licenses for students.

At UC San Diego, Altium Designer Professional licenses and Altium KeySight Extensions licenses available on the UC San Diego licensing dashboard are exclusively for faculty use.

Please note that education licenses are intended solely for educational purposes and must not be associated with any revenue-generating or commercial activities. If research is conducted for school credit and is unpaid, using a student license is permissible. Otherwise, a commercial license will be required and you must contact the Altium sales team.

Students and educators must register their account on the Altium Student Lab site.
