There are several methods you can use to get help from the IT Services Service Desk. 

Self-Service Portal

  • Submit your request for help or report something broken
  • Review the status of your open items
  • Help yourself using knowledge base articles including how-to information and instructions

  • Phone support hours are as follows:
    • Classes in session:
      • Monday through Friday: 7 a.m. – 10 p.m.
      • Saturday and Sunday, noon - 3 p.m.
    • No classes in session: 
      • Monday through Friday: 7 a.m. - 7 p.m.
      • December 19 - December 22: 7 a.m. - 5p.m. 
      • Closed during campus closure (December 23 - January 2)
    • After Hours, on-call support for outages can be reached through our phone system whenever our normal phone support is closed

Visit Us

  • AP&M 1313, First floor (map) / Weekdays, 8 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. 
    • AP&M 1313 Front Desk will be closed from December 19, 2022 to January 2, 2023. Normal hours will resume on January 3, 2023. 
  • Tech Hub @ the Hive, TPCS, Third floor (map) / Weekdays, 8 a.m. – noon, 1 – 4:30 p.m.
  • Library Service Hub at Geisel Library 2nd floor /Sunday through Thursday 4 p.m. - 8 p.m.
    • The Service Hub is located next to the Library Help Desk

The Health IS Service Desk is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. UC San Diego Health includes UC San Diego School of Medicine, Skaggs School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences, and the hospitals and clinics.

UCSD Professional Schools

IT information for UCSD Professional Schools can be found on the itss.ucsd.edu website.
