Finance Administration Resources

Welcome to Finance Administration Resources at UC San Diego!

In 2020, UC San Diego launched a new Financial Information System (FIS) that continues to unveil financial business processes and reporting needs for the general ledger, expense and revenue management, and budget governance through Oracle Financials Cloud, Concur, and Oracle Planning and Budgeting.

As our understanding of the new Financial Information System evolves, streamlined reports and enhanced resources and training to support our financial community remain a top priority. 

As part of the Budget & Finance Web Content Redesign, we are focused on optimizing the site to meet our users' needs. The Blink Budget & Finance site, which garners over 20,000 pageviews each month, supports the UC San Diego community in quickly locating and understanding policies, processes, and the needed information to perform financial activities efficiently, accurately, and within compliance. While the redesign focuses on providing a more modern look and feel to our users, the primary goals are to ensure that users can search and navigate the site efficiently and effectively. With enhancements launching weekly, be sure to review the Resources & Training pages frequently for updated guidance.

Notice: Important Updates

As of July 15, 2024, Integrated Procure-to-Pay Solutions (IPPS) Division of BFS is merging with Housing and Dining Services—along with Triton Print & Digital Media, Early Childhood Education Center (ECEC), and the UC San Diego Bookstore—to form a new division, Residential, Retail and Supply Chain Services (RRSS), dedicated to enhancing service delivery across the university. Please note that Business & Financial Services (BFS) and its other divisions (FinOps, ICA, SPF, SFS, BIR and others) will continue to operate as usual, maintaining all current roles and responsibilities. Stay tuned for further updates and details on this transition.
