UC Driver Responsibilities

Learn about risk management training for employees who drive UC San Diego vehicles or use a personal or rented vehicle for UC business.

Driving UC San Diego Vehicles and Carts

Recommended for anyone who operates a university vehicle or electric cart, utilizes a personal vehicle or rents a vehicle for university business, or is interested in learning more about driver responsibilities.

This course is classroom-based and does not include any behind-the-wheel training. Training content is in compliance with DMV, NIOSH Pub 98-142 & 2003-119.

Motorized Cart Driver Safety

Recommended for anyone who operates a motorized cart. Provides an overview of safe operating techniques, including inspection, preparation, driving, parking, and reporting.

Risk Management: Cars and Property - Your Personal Risks

Recommended for employees driving personal, UC, or rental vehicles for university business; taking UC property off campus; and/or bringing personal property onto the premises.
