Business and Financial Services Human Resources (BFS-HR) provides expert guidance and leadership in on-going efforts to achieve a dynamic and inclusive workforce that delivers client-focused services and support. This unit manages all aspects of human resources for a large department that represents 10+ complex functional divisions and responsible for the full scope of personnel and employment actions for 300+ career, limited, student and volunteer employees.

BFS-HR develops meaningful employee value propositions and talent alignment strategies that align with strategic goals and objectives and support broad based business needs, measures the effectiveness of processes, programs, and initiatives for continuous improvement; and establishes a strategic framework that attracts and retains diverse employees and is anchored in a culture of inclusion.

  • A/R Cash Operations name change to Financial Operations
  • BTOp Fiscal & Budget name change to BTOp Financial & Budget Operations
  • General Accounting name change to Internal Controls and Accounting
  • OPAFS name change to Sponsored Projects Finance
  • Payroll name change to Central Core Payroll
• Establish key priorities (short to mid-term goals to be achieved in 1-3 years)
