People Leader Network
Launched by Campus Human Resources, the People Leader Network is a community of UC San Diego managers and supervisors designed to provide people leaders with the tools they need to foster a healthy and successful working environment.
The People Leader Network aims to:
- Support people leaders with the resources they need to become better managers
- Create a direct line of communication between managers and HR to ensure they have the resources they need when they need them
- Provide managers and supervisors with professional development and training opportunities
- Create a sense of comradery by connecting managers throughout campus with each other

People Leader Summit
The People Leader Network meets four times a year for its centerpiece event, the People Leader Summit - an online, interactive session featuring a wealth of necessary tools for people with teams to thrive as People Leaders.
The summit features news and updates; a real-time Q&A where Campus Chief Human Resources Officer Terri S. Winbush and many others answer questions; moderated discussion groups; and more.

People Leader Support Series
The People Leader Support Series is an interactive recurring webinar opportunity where we take a deeper dive into topics that matter for people leaders as they support their teams throughout the employee lifecycle. The spring 2025 People Leader Support Series sessions will focus on “performance.”
We encourage campus managers and supervisors working through challenges and opportunities around their leadership experiences, responsibilities, and team dynamics to explore the resources available through managerial consults offered by the Faculty and Staff Assistance Program.
