Resources for employees
- Career counseling is available at no cost through the following divisions of Human Resources:

- Health Sciences Human Resources Dept., (619) 543-7585 (for Health Sciences/Health System employees)
- Additional professional career counseling is available through UC San Diego Extension, including drop-in advising.

Resources for supervisors
Staff Education & Development offers two courses for supervisors that include components on how to work with employees to develop their career potential: go to the UC Learning Center and search for Supervisory Training Laboratory and Performance Management. Staff Education & Development also offers customized career development programs for departments on request.
