In some cases, employees may also be able to arrange time off or an alternative work schedule to attend classes. Sources of Funding

UC San Diego Employees and their departments may be eligible for different sources of funds for learning and development. Explore the following programs for funding options:

  • Staff Equal Opportunity Enrichment Program (SEOEP): Learn about funds available to employees working towards promotion or advancement in their current positions here at UC San Diego.
  • UC San Diego Staff Associationand some of its Affiliate Groups, offer scholarships to their members. Check each Affiliate Group’s web page to find out if they offer scholarships, and their eligibility requirements.
  • Your department may have training funds - check with your supervisor or HR representative.
