UC San Diego employees may be eligible for a variety of educational discounts and funding for learning and development. In some cases, employees may also be able to arrange time off or an alternative work schedule to attend classes. Carefully review the programs to learn about eligibility for spouses and registered domestic partners.

Educational Discounts
UC San Diego employees can be eligible for reduced-fee enrollment or discounts for courses. Explore the following programs for educational discounts:

Sources of Funding
UC San Diego Employees and their departments may be eligible for different sources of funds for learning and development. Explore the following programs for funding options:
- Staff Equal Opportunity Enrichment Program (SEOEP): Learn about funds available to employees working towards promotion or advancement in their current positions here at UC San Diego.
- UC San Diego Staff Association, and some of its Affiliate Groups, offer scholarships to their members. Check each Affiliate Group’s web page to find out if they offer scholarships, and their eligibility requirements.
- Your department may have training funds - check with your supervisor or HR representative.
