UC Learning Center: Activities

Learn about activities offered through the UC Learning Center.

The UC Learning Center is host to a variety of learning activities geared toward UC San Diego staff. Activities can be synchronous, instructor-led events or asynchronous, online activities. Departments can create and manage learning activities for the entire campus, an individual department or unit, or even a select audience.

Do you want to add an instructor-led activity to the UC Learning Center? 

If you have an instructor-led activity (either virtual or in-person) you would like to make available through the UC Learning Center, please provide the details about your activity here: Typical turn-around time on these requests is three to five business days. Requests for a large number of classes (8+) may take longer to process. 

Do you want to add existing self-paced content to the UC Learning Center? 

If you have a video or self-paced, online course already created that you would like to add to the UC Learning Center – please provide the details about your content here: 

Depending on the type of content you have and the amount of testing required before the activity can be available to learners, turn-around time on the request will vary. However, a minimum of two weeks is standard. Please keep in mind that any content containing audio must also include either closed captions or a transcript.

Please note: These request forms are intended for campus departments. If you wish to request an activity for Health Sciences and/or Medical Center staff, please submit a request to the  Health HR website (login required).
