Triton Travel supports individuals traveling on behalf of the university for business purposes. Whether you’re a faculty member, staff member, or authorized traveler, our program ensures you have access to everything you need for your trip.
Travel Requests and Booking Options
Start by creating a Travel Request in Concur.
This first step is crucial for the following reasons:

- Priority Perks: Thanks to our negotiated benefits across the UC system, you can enjoy priority perks like early boarding, standby privileges, and early check-in/late check-out
- Access to Lower Rates: Competitive pricing is based on the consolidated travel volume of the entire UC system, giving you access to lower rates and exclusive deals
- Comparison Shopping: Similar to consumer sites, but with the added benefits of negotiated rates and policy guidance, you can shop and compare across airlines, hotels, and rental car providers
- Partner Travel Agencies: Booking through one of our partner agencies, Balboa Travel or Kahala Travel, gives you 24/7 support from UC-dedicated agents who are well-versed in our travel policies
Flexible Payment Methods
With Triton Travel, you won’t need to pay out of pocket. Our centralized payment method in Concur covers airfare, while Travel & Entertainment Cards are perfect for hotels, rental cars, and meals. For non-employees, we offer a temporary virtual card that works with Apple Pay and Google Pay.
Expense Reporting Made Simple
Expense reports can be a hassle, but we’re here to help! Convert your travel request to an expense report, manage receipts easily through email or our mobile app, and automatically route your report for approval.
