How to Create a Kuali Record

Create a Kuali Record

Welcome to your central resource for comprehensive Kuali Research support. This section provides in-depth guidance, curated resources, and targeted training to empower research administrators with the tools and knowledge they need to succeed. Whether you're navigating proposal development and system functionality, you'll find the support necessary to build confidence and enhance your expertise.

Kuali Research is the institutional and enterprise system of record for various research-related agreements. Therefore, a Kuali Research record is required for the following agreement types.

Please note that all Kuali Research records must be created at least 14 days before the sponsor deadline and routed for review no later than 5 days before the deadline.

Following these timelines helps ensure your proposal is complete and accurate. Missing documentation or incorrect information may cause delays in the review and submission process, which can ultimately impact timely award processing and assurance.

To learn more about the proposal review process you can visit our Blink page.
