Guidance

  • Procurement has engaged suppliers that meet the university requirements to obtain Promotional Products, including securing trademark and licensing agreements from authorized entities.
  • UC San Diego prioritizes sustainability by advocating for environmentally friendly promotional items to support the university's procurement sustainability objectives.
  • Ensure promotional item(s) align with your department/project budget; deviations require financial authority approval.

Trademarks and Licensing

If you need to order branded products or have questions about trademarks or licensing, please check out the Trademarks and Licensing page or email trademarks@ucsd.edu.

All vendors producing imprinted items must be licensed through CLC, UC San Diego’s collegiate licensing agency. Licensing protects the UC San Diego brand and helps ensure vendors follow the UC Code of Conduct. View the list of CLC-licensed vendors here and select UC San Diego from the drop-down menu.
