Request an Equity Increase.

The Student Employment Office now utilizes a new method for submitting student equity increase requests. Department HR Contacts must log into UC San Diego’s Employee Center (via the Services and Support Portal) to submit requests via the Student Employee Equity Increase form

Additional guides and resources can be found below.

Please note that as part of this new equity submission workflow, both the student employee’s Supervisor and the official Department Head will need to approve the request within the Employee Center before SEO can review it. The Supervisor and Department Head will both receive automatic emails notifying them when they must approve a request.

Health Systems
hiring Managers and Supervisors may submit requests for equity directly via this new equity form, rather than the HHR Team. Health employees will need to use their non-Health UCSD email address when logging into the Services and Support Portal in order to access the equity form.

Health Systems hiring Managers and supervisors will need to contact Health HR to obtain the information above if not known.

Disclaimer: ONLY Department HR Contacts or People Leaders may sumbit an equity increase for an employee. Employees cannot submit an equity increase on their own behalf.

Note: You can pay an administrative stipend to a student employee temporarily assigned to higher level responsibilities or other significant duties not part of the student employee's regular position.
