IT Business Office
Director: Anna Nordeen
The IT Business Office performs a diverse set of functions for IT Services. We provide HR and administration support including personnel actions, recruitment, employee benefits, employee relations, travel office space, organizational development, strategic planning and departmental policies. We develop and monitor the IT Services' budget, provide financial reporting, forecasting and strategic planning, procurement, and inventory management. Within this group, you have the following teams:
Administrative Support
Service Owner/Lead: Andrea Maydahl
The Administrative Support team helps IT Services staff with employee recognition, timekeeping, facilities management, administrative support, travel and disbursements.
Financial Management
Service Owner/Lead: Michele Palmer
The Financial Management team develops and monitors the IT Services' budget, provides financial reporting, forecasting and strategic planning for the department.
Human Resources Management
Service Owners/Leads: Sara Turner
The Human Resources Management team provides a wide variety of services in IT Services: personnel actions, recruitment, employee benefits, employee relations, organizational development, strategic planning and departmental policies. We believe in providing the highest level of customer service to IT Services in order to meet our common strategic goals.
Inventory Management
Service Owner/Lead: Sean Kikuchi
Inventory Management handles the Telecommunications Inventory Storeroom, which supports the Campus Voice and Data Networks.
Procurement
Service Owner/Lead: Andrew Bunker
Colocated with IT Services, Procurement provides campuswide information technology procurement services to UC San Diego.
