STORE is a self-supporting recharge unit of Logistics that provides essential products and services to departments and labs across UC San Diego. Through a centralized approach, STORE procures and resells a range of items, ensuring they are kept in stock and available with minimal lead times to support UC San Diego’s mission of academic excellence, world-class research, and patient care.
Our offerings include tax-free ethanol, various types of gas cylinders (stock and specialty gases), personal protective equipment (PPE), and shipping supplies. We also partner with ReadyRefresh to provide campus with drinking water services.
STORE’s gas cylinders, ethanol alcohol, PPE, and shipping supplies are delivered by the Receiving & Distribution team. For drinking water services, STORE collaborates with its water delivery vendor to fulfill orders and complete any requested services.
