Learn about the TES Online Pay System (TOPS) for temporary employees at UC San Diego.
Temporary employees and their supervisors use the TES Online Pay System (TOPS) instead of MyTime in order to report and administer hours for payroll time records.
Process:
- Timesheets will be posted online the first business day after a new pay period begins (usually a Monday).
- Employees log in to TOPS, complete their timesheets and submit them to their supervisors.
- Supervisors receive an e-mail that an employee timesheet is ready for approval. Supervisors log in to TOPS, approve employees’ timesheets and submit them to HR.
- HR issues payments to temporary employees.
- Department payroll personnel can access billing and invoice information.
