Ergonomics Where You Work
UC San Diego prioritizes ergonomics to help reduce workplace discomfort and injuries.
The university's ergonomics program, Ergo Where You Work, aims to minimize repetitive stress and musculoskeletal disorders by fitting the workplace to the worker. It examines the interaction between workers and their workplace conditions, tools, and job tasks to reduce the risk of injuries or illnesses. UC San Dieog's program includes ergonomic training, worksite evaluations, and implementation of ergonomic control strategies, focusing on employee health and well-being.
Ergo Where You Work provides assessments, training, equipment recommendations, funding, resources and tips.
