Read the information below before you make a deposit at the TritonPay Office.
When to make a deposit:
If your department receives payments in the form of cash or checks, these payments should be submitted as soon as possible to the Central Cashier's. Holding onto cash or checks increases vulnerability to loss, theft, or misplacement, and may also lead to issues with expired checks or account closures. Timely deposits also help prevent lost interest income for UCSD
Where to make payments and deposits:
Payments and deposits may be submitted in person at the TritonPay Office in the Student Services Center, Suite 170 (map), from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Alternatively, you may use the drop box located on south wall facing Rupertus Lane or mail them via U.S. Mail or Campus Mail.
Checks being deposited should:
- Be made payable to "UC Regents"
- Have a current date (post-dated checks are not accepted)
- Be in US dollars (checks in foreign currency or written on foreign banks will lead to delayed funds, fees and may not be negotiable)
- Be endorsed on back with the department endorsement stamp
When you are ready to make a deposit, see How to Make a Deposit.
