Learn about the last phase, Implementation, of a systems development methodology.

7.0 Implementation phase

The implementation phase and contingency plan should be completed and implementation should commence. Implementation may include:

• Data conversions
• Fallback and/or contingency plans and considerations
• Completion of the production environment including intermediate servers
• Completion of the desktop environment
• Software support
• Emergency response
• Help desk
• Documentation (e.g. Overviews, User Guides, Training Manuals, Reference manuals, etc)
