Secure System Access

Secured system access is required for core business systems (IFIS, ISIS, PPS) on the mainframe via TN3270.

Locate the software you use below, then link to directions to secure your access. If you don't know your software version, ask your desktop support technician.

TCP3270 for Windows

Download Stunnel, a free secure encryption method.

A TN3270 product that supports SSL, for example, Hummingbird HostExplorer version 8

Activate SSL and connect to port 1023 on hubble.ucsd.edu.
