Patty Arnett co-founded the UC San Diego Visual Arts Group with Nelda Hann in 2002. Patty began working at UC San Diego in 1993, retired in 2018, and is still an active committee member as a retiree.

Patty Arnett is a photographer and has always considered herself a “nature lover”. She photographs the beauty of nature so others can enjoy it, too. Her photographs show nature up close and personal.  Patty started visiting Yosemite National Park annually as a child. The natural grandeur she discovered there inspired her first photography efforts. As an adult, her photography has taken her traveling to many different locations for inspiration.
