Gayle Ta is a UC San Diego alumna and earned her B.S. in Management Science.  She currently works at UC San Diego as Director for Student Financial Solutions.  Gayle became interested in Chinese brush painting after attending an art exhibit at the UCSD Craft Center in 2004.  Inspired by how only a few strokes can create beautiful artwork and also instill a sense of peace and calmness, she decided to take painting classes to learn the craft.  Her paintings, mainly featuring flowers and birds, have been displayed in art exhibits at Balboa Park Spanish Village and San Diego Hospice.
