The Data, Systems, and Process (DSP) domain in Human Resources oversees key units which include Business Intelligence, Human Capital Management, HR Payroll and Program Management and Business Integration. The suite of units under DSP serve with a people focused approach that unites a variety of HR and Payroll practices, processes and systems to work as one to achieve organizational optimization.


Business Intelligence/HCM
This unit is responsible for designing, supporting and maintaining the procedural, operational and technical infrastructure that collects, stores, and analyzes the data produced by enterprise systems and activities to drive decisions, benchmark performance and improve processes.

HR Payroll
HR Payroll responds to the needs of UC San Diego staff by providing quality payroll services.

The OCM unit provides a campus-wide focus on change management, training, communication and employee engagement initiatives that closely align people, process and technology with the university’s strategic vision, focusing on the people side of change. 

Program Management & Business Integration
PMBI designs enterprise-wide program solutions - programs impacting at the UC system-wide level and the local UC San Diego level - and coordinates the integration of these solutions into campus business systems.
