If you are one of the very few employees on campus who can – and sometimes do – give away free tickets to events, you need to be aware of a new policy and a new form governing those gifts. The University of California, responding to a state law requiring public agencies to develop a policy covering the distribution of tickets (or admission) to entertainment, amusement, or recreational events, has issued Form 802 – “UC Policy on Distribution of Tickets and Passes to University Officials.”
