Career Consultations and Resume Review
Learn how career consultations and resume critique services can help you clarify and achieve your career goals.
Career consultations and resume critique services are now offered to staff through the UC San Diego Human Resources - Talent Acquisition & Data Analytics division (for general campus staff), and Career Connection (for Health Sciences and Health System staff).
In order to meet with an advisor for a resume review or career consultation, employees will need to first complete the following:
- A personalized SkillScan Drive transferable skills assessment, available at no cost to UC San Diego staff at SkillScan Online.
SkillScan is an online interactive tool that will help you to identify your greatest strengths and transferable skills in your career development. It is also an effective tool for identifying skills for your resume.
- A Career Development Planning Worksheet (PDF), (Word file), to get started on developing career goals.
Once you have completed both of the above, request an appointment:
- Request an appointment by sending an e-mail to Talent Acquisition & Data Analytics; specify that you have completed the above 2 items and are ready to make an appointment.
