The UCSD Women's Center fosters the educational, professional, and personal development of diverse groups of women. It is an open, public, and feminist environment, which strives to be a safe space and community resource for women and men of diverse backgrounds.

Programs and services

Located in Student Center West, Bldg. 290 (map), the Women's Center provides a variety of programs and services including:

• Information and referral services
• Support and discussion groups
• Workshops, events, and speakers
• Library of books, magazines, and newsletters, films and documentaries on gender, diversity, and family issues
• Wireless Internet access
• Meeting spaces for organizations and events
• Private lactation space
• Community donation drives
