UC San Diego Health: Expert Care for Exceptional Employees

We know that UC San Diego employees have choices about where to receive their health care. Now more than ever, staying healthy is key — and good health begins with convenient primary care.

That’s why UC San Diego Health has expanded our network of primary care locations to the neighborhoods where you live and work. You and your family can access our nationally ranked specialty care, delivered by world-class physicians at medical centers with the most advanced technology and services.

You also have other excellent options to fit your needs through our affiliated network, including Perlman Clinic, One Medical and San Diego Sports Medicine, with locations around San Diego County. These high-quality primary care practices offer comprehensive services that are focused on convenience and wellness for you and your family. No matter where you get your care, you will have access to convenient tools such as video visits and online scheduling.

You Can Make the Switch

  • If your current plan doesn’t cover UC San Diego Health providers or our affiliates, you have the option to switch to one that does during Open Enrollment, now through November 19.
  • If your current plan gives you access to UC San Diego Health, you may be able to choose one of our primary care physicians (PCPs) at any time. You may need to use a provider code when selecting your PCP – see a list of provider codes codes here.

For help switching your care, call 619-543-2273 or visit heath.ucsd.edu/switch.

Please note: One Medical is a membership-based practice and while most of its members pay an annual fee, UC San Diego has covered this membership fee for employees. Read our One Medical FAQ for more information »
