ITS Data Management Local Data Repository Survey

Take a survey to help us identify local data repositories.

Note: Please complete the survey by Thursday March 31st 2016. Once all responses are received, we'll reach out directly to respondents to gather more specific requirements to include during our development process.

In order to advance the university and better serve you, our constituents, the ITS Data Management team is developing a fully modernized, integrated enterprise Data Warehouse solution.  To ensure that all departments are represented, we are conducting this survey to identify any local, individual and departmentally-created data warehouses/data marts so that these repositories may be incorporated into the integrated solution.

Your responses to the questionnaire below will bring to light the existence of your local repository so that we can address related data requirements as we develop our new capabilities. We're interested in understanding the underlying purpose and business needs that led to the creation of your local data store, such as the need to keep historical snapshots, need to integrate with local data, need to provide additional analytics not capable with standard toolsets, who it serves, its source(s), type of data, security restrictions, and your suggestions so that these can be accounted for in the new solution.
