Certain sponsors of research are exempt from University non-governmental entity financial disclosure requirements.

These research sponsors are approved by the University and the Fair Political Practices Commission for exemption from the University's non-governmental entity financial disclosure requirement. Principal investigators are not required to fill out 700-U financial disclosure statements for research that is sponsored by these organizations.
