Use this guide to contact a UCSD pager from an on-campus or off-campus location.
From an on-campus location
- Press the available line button.
- Press 135 on the keypad.
- At the dial tone, enter the last four digits of the pager number.
- Follow the prompt to "Enter call back number and press #."
- Hang up.
From an off-campus location
- Dial the 10-digit number (858) 616-XXXX.
- Follow the prompt to "Enter call-back number and press #."
- Hang up.
From the UCSD Medical Center to a campus pager
- Press the available line button.
- Press 135 on the keypad.
- At the dial tone, enter the last four digits of the pager number.
- Follow the prompt to "Enter call back number and press #."
- Hang up.
From the VA Medical Center to a campus pager
- Dial 68 (dial tone).
- Dial 135.
- At the dial tone, enter the last four digits of the pager number.
- Hang up.
From the UCSD Medical Center to a Medical Center pager
- Press the available line button.
- On the keypad, press 137 plus the pager number.
- At the dial tone, enter your call back number and press #.
- Hang up.
From outside the UCSD Medical Center to a Medical Center pager
- Dial the seven digit pager number (290-XXXX).
- At the tone, enter your call back number and press #.
- Hang up.
