Submit your nomination for UC San Diego Veterans for extraordinary community work

Nominate a faculty, staff or student veteran who has been employed at UC San Diego for a minimum of one year or enrolled as a full time student for a minimum of one year. The nominee’s duties in the military are not criteria for the nomination, but will be part of the biography once the person is selected.

Nominees should be involved in UC San Diego activities, contribute to co-worker or student morale, and/or heavily participate in service to the community. The service must be separate from paid job duties, such as employment at the VA Medical Center.

Although any member of the UC San Diego community may submit a nomination, only current dues paying VSA members may vote. To become a member, please contact James Seddon at jseddon@ucsd.edu.

Nominations for 2023 are due no later than Friday, September 15, 2023 at 5 pm.
