Mission Statement
The IDEAS Council drives campus innovation and startup creation by fostering a collaborative ecosystem that leverages synergies and resources across programs. We focus on developing future innovation talent and supporting students, faculty, and community partners in achieving startup success and community impact, collectively amplifying UC San Diego’s role as a national leader.

Meetings
The Ideas Council meets the first Thursday of every month from 10 - 11:30 a.m. Meetings are typically closed to campus program managers and Innovation & Entrepreneurship campus leadership. Open meetings are hosted 3 times annually, once in Fall, Winter, and Spring quarters. If you would like to request to join IDEAS Council, please reach out to Nathan Owens at nowens@ucsd.edu.
