Services & Support Portal

Learn about the Services & Support portal for faculty, staff, and students.

One place for support

The Services & Support portal, built on the ServiceNow platform, provides one place for faculty, staff, and students to browse knowledge base articles, request services or get help. The portal is divided into 5 major areas:

  • Advancement: Support for engegement, stewardship, and philanthrophy
  • Budget & Finance: Budget, finance, logistics, payment, procurement, and travel 
  • Information Technology: Technical, communications, and network support for business systems and campus infrastructure
  • Payroll, Academic Personnel, & HR (PATH): Payroll, academic personnel, timekeeping, and benefits
  • Research: General research administration, Kuali COI, and Kuali research
  • Student Support: Student account management, student campus card, student finance support

Why we did this

Having one platform for all services and support simplifies the process for getting help and facilitates transferring and escalating requests between campus departments. It also allows us to dedicate resources to one technical solution, allowing for optimization of existing technology and the ability to fully leverage emerging technology.
