Why management advisory services?

Each year, AMAS receives various requests from campus management for services that are more advisory in nature than traditional audits. Management advisory services allow AMAS the opportunity to partner with management to identify solutions for management issues as they arise, and to ensure consideration of related internal control issues in the process. Advisory services include:

Consultations

Generally defined as services that we can provide in 20 hours or less, consultations may include requests for opinion, policy or process reviews, and issue resolution support.

Committee participation

AMAS can provide input on a range of topics as either a committee member or in an advisory role.

Systems development/re-engineering team support

AMAS also participates in special committees providing a disciplined approach for systems development or process re-engineering.
