Mobile Devices and Other Applications

After changing your AD password you will need to reset logins for applications on other devices you use.

Mobile Devices

After you change your AD password, log in to campus Wi-Fi, university email, Teams, and other applications you access from your device using the new password.

Email Clients

  • If prompted, enter the new AD password.
  • If there is no prompt within 24 hours or the new password does not work:
    1. Remove your email account in email Settings
    2. Add your Exchange/Outlook account
    3. Enter your UC San Diego email address
    4. Sign in to SSO using email address and the new AD password

Remote Desktop Protocol (RDP) to Campus Workstations

AD passwords will be updated automatically on your campus workstations. Log in to RDP Remote Desktop Protocol with the new AD password.
