Roles
Basic DocuSign roles
When a new DocuSign account is created, user roles default to Sender, which is suitable for most users. If you need to create PowerForms you can request your access level be updated to Forms Manager after your account is created.
- Sender role can create/send envelopes or templates. These are the two most common ways to configure files for electronic signature.
- Signers can sign documents, create and save signatures, and track the routing status of workflows in which they are identified as recipients.
- Forms Manager role can create PowerForms (and also have all the access listed above for Senders), which allows templates to be converted into a form that can be embedded in emails or webpages.
