What we do
The Graduate Resource and Advisors Network (GRADNet) is a volunteer staff organization that supports, develops, and empowers graduate staff and advisors in networking, organizing, and sharing of information and resources in order to advance and influence the issues pertinent to graduate education at UC San Diego.
Goals
- Foster a collaborative community among graduate staff and advisors and provide a forum for ongoing discussion among all graduate professionals.
- Explore critical topics relevant to serving the diverse needs and body of students in graduate education.
- Engage with various campus representatives and offices regarding changes in policies or regulations that affect graduate students and graduate education.
- Develop and share best practices and as a consulting body impact, influence, and shape graduate affairs policy at UC San Diego.
- Acknowledge and recognize the vital role of graduate student affairs and promote professional development opportunities in the profession.
