New Pest Policy Alert

The UC Presidential Policy on Integrated Pest Management that goes into effect Wednesday, March 13, 2024 and must be fully implemented by September 13, 2025. Please visit the new Presidential Policy on Integrated Pest Management (IPM) for more details on the scope and upcoming implementation proccess.

Integrated Pest Management (IPM)

The EH&S Pest Management team uses an Integrated Pest Management (IPM) approach to determine if treatment is needed.

IPM employs physical, mechanical, cultural, biological, and educational methods to limit pest problems. The least toxic chemical pesticides are used only as a last resort.
