Labor Relations, a division of Human Resources, acts as consultant and advocate to campus administration. It supports the proper exercise of collective bargaining processes and procedures for formal complaint resolution.
Labor Relations also ensures that collective bargaining agreements are properly administered. In so doing, Labor Relations ensures that:
- Employees are treated in accordance with the terms and conditions of the collective bargaining agreements
- Unions are treated in accordance with the terms and conditions of the collective bargaining agreements
- Management is treated in accordance with the terms and conditions of the collective bargaining agreements
