Faculty and Staff Assistance Program (FSAP)
What we do
The Faculty and Staff Assistance Program is a confidential service designed to help campus employees* and the members of their immediate household resolve concerns that may be affecting personal well-being and/ or job performance.
*UC San Diego Heath employees: Please contact your Employee Assistance Program (EAP) provider aligned with your medical coverage. FSAP is open for business with counselors working remotely during the campus response to COVID-19.
- All in-person meetings have been moved to Zoom or phone.
- New clients, please go to Make An Appointment
- Current and returning clients, please contact you counselor directly by phone or email.
- If you have a mental health emergency, dial the San Diego County Access and Crisis Line at 1-888-724-7240.
Services include
- One-on-one information, support, and counseling
- Departmental behavioral consultation assistance
- Coordinating counseling services and activities, as well as directing faculty and staff to outside resources
- Educational workshops and support groups on a variety of topics
