Booking Start Times

Find out when students can start booking classes via Triton Student System (TSS).

The following dates and times apply to continuing undergraduate students only. Incoming student Booking Start Times will be published at a later date. 

Please note: Within assigned booking windows, access will be staggered based on cumulative passed units, with students who are closer to graduation receiving access before those with fewer completed units. See Preparing to Book Courses for additional information on course booking.

Continuing undergraduate students will be assigned a booking window based on:

• Quarters completed
• Cumulative units passed

Frequently Asked Questions

I am a transfer student and haven’t completed many quarters. Where do I fit in?

Transfer students are automatically assigned 6 quarter completions at the beginning of their academic career. 

Do Summer Session classes count towards completed quarters?

No, Summer Sessions do not count towards quarters completed; courses completed during Summer Sessions do count towards units passed. This has been done intentionally to align with the quarter limit policy which excludes Summer Sessions in the quarter count.

Do part-time terms count towards completed quarters?

Yes, part-time terms do count as completed terms. We understand that students may not always be able to remain enrolled full-time due to obligations outside the university, and we don’t want to disadvantage those students by disqualifying a part-time fall, winter or spring term. Note however, that students are limited in the number of units they can earn in part-time terms, and so may take longer to reach the next student class level than those attending full-time.

Do AP/IB credits count?

Yes, AP/IB credits count towards your units passed.
