UC San Diego Pride Staff Association
Background and Mission

The Pride Staff Association is a community-centered staff affiliate group, formed in accordance with the Principles of Community, that welcomes all UC San Diego staff while intentionally centering the experiences of LGBTQ+ people. Together, we foster connection and mutual support across the campus on issues impacting queer and trans communities. All staff are welcome to join this space where we work together, learn from each other, and ensure that everyone can show up fully and safely at UC San Diego.
The UC San Diego Pride Staff Association is currently active and accepting members.
Objectives
- Create a welcoming space for interaction and coalition-building among members through sponsorship of social gatherings.
- Provide networking opportunities between members and the larger UCSD community.
- Foster communication between staff and administration, students, and faculty on LGBTQ+ issues and concerns.
- Act as a central hub for information and educational resources on LGBTQ+ topics.
