The UC San Diego LGBT Staff and Faculty Association is currently on Hiatus.
The UC San Diego LGBT Staff and Faculty Association is the official faculty and staff association for the lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender community at UC San Diego.
It provides opportunities to meet new people at the University and make connections that will last your entire career. Events are open to faculty and staff regardless of sexual orientation or gender identity.
Mission Statement
In accordance with the principles of community adopted by UCSD, the UC San Diego LGBT Staff and Faculty Association enhances the quality of life for lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender faculty and staff by:
- Fostering communication between staff, administration, students, and faculty on LGBT issues as they relate to staff and faculty concerns.
- Providing opportunities for interaction and coalition building among members through sponsorship of social events.
- Providing opportunities for interaction and education between members and the larger UC San Diego community through sponsorship of programs and lectures.
- Helping to support a strong LGBT community by providing a relaxed, safe place during social events for LGBT faculty and staff to create lasting friendships.
How to Join
All UCSD staff and faculty who share a common interest in the UCSD LGBT Staff and Faculty Association's mission and the UCSD Principles of Community are welcome to join and participate in events.
