Find out what discounts are available to UC San Diego faculty and staff. Be sure to verify with the company that they are still offering the discount and note that restrictions may apply.

As a UC employee, you are eligible for certain discounts. You may need a Campus Card for many of these discounts. If you do not have a Campus Card, see How to Get or Replace a Faculty/ Staff Campus Card.

UC San Diego Savings Marketplace:Your one-stop destination for all discounts and exclusive offers available to the UC San Diego community! This upgraded custom platform now includes everything you loved about Tickets at Work, plus even better localized deals. 

  • National discounts on entertainment, travel, shopping deals, car maintenance, and international offers.
  • Exclusive local offers for UC San Diego employees, including but not limited to:
    • LEGOLAND
    • The San Diego Zoo and Safari Park
    • SeaWorld
    • Padres tickets
    • Local activities, such as Dave and Busters, iFly Indoor Skydiving, Harbor cruises, and museum tickets 
    • San Diego grocery stores and restaurants 

Access is easy and streamlined—start saving today! Once registered, you will receive an email with a passcode. In order to view the UCSD EXCLUSIVES tab where you will find all the local & exclusive offers, the passcode must be entered on the homepage drop down prompt. 

UC San Diego Offerings

  • ArtPower at UC San Diego: You are a group of brilliant and dedicated people who push this university forward. We recognize and appreciate you! Join us for an ArtPower event and receive 15% off the regular ticket price. Use SSO to access your benefits.
  • Athletics: All staff and faculty will receive Athletics discounts automatically when signing in using their SSO. Discounts are available for select single game and season tickets. Other offerings include:
    • Junior Triton Club: Staff and Faculty can purchase discounted Junior Triton Club memberships for their children. 25% off memberships can be accessed automatically by logging in with their SSO. 
    • Staff can request Spirit Groups (King Triton, Cheer, Dance, Pep Band, etc.) for campus events 
    • Free Athletics Zoom backgrounds
  • The Bella: Staff and faculty can get 10% off their orders at this restaurant in the Sanford Consortium. 
  • Birch Aquarium: All UC San Diego and UC San Diego Health staff and faculty are eligible to receive $10 off a Coastal Explorer, Coastal Ambassador, or Ocean Protector level membership. To sign up for this membership promotion, please visit our Guest Services office with your current UC San Diego ID.
  • Bookstore: The UC San Diego Bookstore offers select discounts and promotions to staff throughout the year. Visit the UC San Diego Bookstore Website or the campus store for:
    • Special academic discounts on software and Apple products
    • Sales throughout the year (sign up to receive their once a month e-newsletter)
    • Spirit Fridays: save 10% on your in-store purchase just for wearing blue and gold
  • HDH Dining: Show your Staff ID at any HDH location on campus for a 10% discount off your order. Orders must be placed in-person for the discount and mobile app orders are not eligible.
  • Lucky's Barbershop: Use the code UCSDSTAFF26 to receive 50% off your first visit and then 20% all future services! Lucky's is located on the second floor of Price Center East. 
  • Theatre and Dance: Staff and Faculty can purchase tickets to Theatre and Dance shows for $18 reduced from the $25 general admission rate.

Local and Regional Offerings

SPECIAL SUMMER 2026 OFFERING: UC San Diego Human Resources has partnered with the San Diego County Fair to offer a discount code for staff! Use the code UCSD2026 for $3 off General Admission tickets for up to 6 tickets per order. The code is not valid for use on Senior and Youth tickets. 

 

  • Allen's Flowers and Plants: Use the code UCSD15 for 15% off at AllensFlowers.com and at any of our six San Diego County retail locations. In stores, please mention the code at checkout. The discount doesn't apply to sale items or in-store promotions (like our $15 rose specials), and it can't be combined with other promotional offers. For online orders, the code is valid only on deliveries within our local San Diego County area — not on orders shipping out of state or beyond our delivery zone.
  • Body Fit Carmel Valley: Body Fit Training Carmel Valley offers science-backed and tested progressive training programs built to deliver positive results for all fitness levels.   • NetZero Expeditions: Net Zero Expeditions offers a 10% discount to UC San Diego staff for whale watching and ocean adventures. Use discount code UCSD10 at checkout.
  • Rachel McFarlin Photography: Rachel McFarlin Photography offers family packages, headshots, portraits, and event photography. UC San Diego Employees can get 15% off family portraits or headshots Monday-Thursday. Contact Rachel directly to learn more.
