The annual Equal Opportunity/ Affirmative Action and Diversity Awards Program honors staff, faculty, students, departments, and organizational units or groups that make outstanding contributions in the areas of equal opportunity, affirmative action, diversity, and the UCSD Principles of Community during the year.

The Equal Opportunity/ Affirmative Action and Diversity Awards Ceremony will be held Tuesday, Feb. 14, 2012, 2–3:30 p.m., in the Price Center Ballroom West (map).

• Promotes fairness at UC San Diego
• Makes UCSD a better place to work or learn
• Demonstrates exemplary support of the UCSD Principles of Community

Nominations

Nominations for the award are now being accepted. All members of the UCSD community are encouraged to nominate or endorse colleagues who deserve the title of Diversity Champion. The deadline for submissions is Wednesday, November. 16, 2011.
