UCSD's network specifications

Over 10-gigabit connection through CENIC's CalREN2 (California Research and Education Network) regional network to Abilene (Internet 2) and NLR (National Lambda Rail)
Direct connection to ESNET for specialized uses

Backbone:

1- or 10-gigabit connections to buildings
