The UCSD Pest Management Services team uses an Integrated Pest Management (IPM) approach todetermine if a UCSD facility needs treatments. IPM employs physical, mechanical, cultural,biological, and educational methods to limit pest problems. The least toxic chemical pesticides areused only as a last resort.
