About Warren Lecture Hall

Warren Lecture Hall, located on the south side of the Warren Green, is home to some of the largest classrooms on campus. Due to its immense amount of lecture space, Warren Lecture Hall is home to many of the largest classes on campus and plays host to a wide array of disciplines, ranging from Chemistry and Biology to some of the general education writing courses of a few of the colleges. The hall is named after the namesake of Warren college, Chief Justice Earl Warren. Justice Earl Warren's "Warren Court" played a huge role in shaping United States legislature and the Judicial branch as a whole throughout the 20th century, and his court was responsible for the dismantling of the segregationist Jim Crow laws and numerous other incredibly important rulings which have shaped the liberties of American now and forever.
