About Sverdrup Hall
Named for the third director of Scripps, Harald Ulrik Sverdrup, this four-story building houses chemistry laboratories and the Scripps Analytical Facility. The Analytical Facility has highly sophisticated equipment such as mass spectrometers, electron microscopes, and nuclear magnetic resonance spectrometers, for use by scientists at Scripps and UC San Diego, and, as time permits, the local high-tech community.
