About Spanos Athletic Training Facility
The Alex G. Spanos Training Facility is located in north campus and has an assignable area of 14,513 square feet. Located at the top of the track and field stadium, the Spanos Training Facility includes a weight training room, activity room, and two locker rooms. Occupied in July 1988, the Facility was funded by a gift from San Diego Chargers owner Alex G. Spanos and provides athletic and recreation space for UC San Diego students and athletes.
